Former World #1 John White Will be Seeded #1

Entry for our tournament has now closed and I am very excited to announce that John White, former world #1 and current world #9 will be our top seed. John's first match will take place on Wednesday evening, May 23, at approximately 7:00pm. He will be up against one of the four qualifiers that make it into the main draw. Members of the Bay Club will be pleased to welcome White back to the club; he played an exhibition match in May of last year with Jonathan Power. Whilst the crowd enjoyed the entertaining evening I know that everyone will be excited at the prospect of seeing the tall, hard hitting Aussie, playing flat out to win this time.

Our # 2 seed will be Adrian Grant of England (ranked #15 in the world), and our #3 seed is world #19 Mohd Azlan Iskander. Shahier Razik, our 2005 tournamnt winner, will be seeded in the 4th position.
